Hello everybody.
My name is Littleowl from Leicester. Just bought a 04 plate 206cc 2.0 litre Allure. Everything going ok except for slight roof problem. It opens and shuts but continues to bleep when the roof is down. If I press very slightly on the boot lid at the top left near the rear window the bleeping stops and all is well. I think the latch needs a bit of WD40 but am not sure how to access this. Can I stop the roof half way through its cycle and apply WD40 then or can this do harm? Loving the car very much. Your thoughts on the roof will be most welcome.

Don't use wd40 ... Not the best choice ...

What do you recommend instead of WD40?

Just use wd40, if its knackered your gonna need a new set of switches anyway.

As Littleowl asked... Can you stop the roof half way? Also can you use WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner‎? & does anyone Know what Lubricant to use on the seals?
