Firstly NEVER stop the roof mid operation.
Try the relay trick as posted by Slo on here to close the roof, after that try putting it up manually

Best way to clean the inside of the rear window is with the roof down in the boot. Open the boot lid and you can get at it. Take care not to damage the heating elements by being too rough.

Hi there,
The roof wouldn't open so tried manual open, which worked but will not now latch back in to place.
Need to get back to this point to try and fix main issue.Car is 206 cc 2005I have tried every instruction posted on the forum and still cant get the latches on the boot lid back in place. If you have any further ideas I would be grateful. Will

I don't know if this will work, but it must be worth a try.

Close the roof (manually if necessary), return the hydraulic controls to normal, perform a BSI reboot (http://www.petercoopercarrepairs.co.uk/ ... cedure.htm) and then try again to open the roof.
