My peugeot (year 2003) has just failed MOT on emissions. It's always just scrapped through and we have replaced the cat and exhaust, both lambda sensors, coil pack, spark plugs and air filter but still has a too high reading.
Any suggestions please?
Everything else on car is fine but need to sort this out and don't know what else to try.

Re: Emissions
Does the car do many miles?
Often taking the car for a Italian tune up before turning up at MOT place can help with emission issues.
Italian Tune up = a good thrashing of the engine when its hot.
Personally I book and wait with the car for MOT's. Always making sure its had a good run to get everything nice and hot. As it's not uncommon for garages to warm cars up on just idle, which tends to mean over rich running.

Re: Emissions
Hi, generally not a lot of miles, average 6000 year and day to day 4 miles each way to work.
Thanks for reply will have to try that.
