Hi all,
a couple of times we've had a message on the dash panel saying "Anti-polution fault".
Can anyone explain what that's all about, please! Nothing happens when we ignore it, BTW!
Cheers,
Chris

Re: Strange dashboard message.
You will need the fault codes read. Could be anything from spark plugs to one of the many sensors on the engine.
Cheers Col.

Who does that? The only geezer round here who claims to be a specialist charges so much you may as well give him the car and take the bus!

Ask around on facebook on car sale groups in your area for anyone that's got peugeot planet 2000, you can join 206info.co.uk and ask on there too and they have a global map of people that have the equipment who will charge you a drink rather than the ocean, providing there's anyone near you that is.
You will be far better off having someone with peugeot planet look at it than a general code scanner as it is more indepth and will tell you a lot more, however theres nothing to stop you buying a cheap one yourself to give you some possibilities as to whats gone wrong.
You can get a cheap chinese one for £12 delivered off the bay

Re: Strange dashboard message.
I was disappointed by the thread content to this title. Was expecting message Like "Self Destruct activated" or "Driving style has a lot to be desired" or "Should have bought a Ford"
