BAD STEERING WHEN ACCELERATING!
Hi guys so once again this 206cc 1.6s 2001 is being a nightmare, had the driver side suspension arm and wheel hub carrier replaced last october as was steering all over the place, then after a knocking sound in the front some months later i replaced the passenger side suspension arm and to my amazement the steering was at its best, even the steering wheel straightened up in line. So a few weeks ago it started to pull to the right on acceleration and when foot off it would swerve sharply left. When accelerating and it goes right the steering wheel is turning to the left, which is confusing me, however any advice as what it could be would be a great help as its getting worse and its quite dangerous going through the gears and on off acceleration im all over the road, the only thing i can think of is driver side arm as when i brake it make a click, or possibly track rod end. Apologies for the long story!!

First check for wear again. If the arms you had fitted where the standard type (rubber mountings) then they may have failed ... also the source of the parts could have been questionable. This happened to ours and I found the rubber mountings in the arms had split and was allowing the arm to move.
If you need new arms (1) buy the type specified for the 206 GTi and (2) buy a well known brand name. I'd also get the balljoints topped up with grease before they are fitted as the amount supplied from new is minimal (after all it's in their interests to get you to buy new arms more often!)
Also check your wheels and tyres. Budget tyres are notorious for going out of shape and losing their grip. Make sure they are at the right pressures.

Never heard of them and the part looks like the standard arm .. bushes aren't strong enough for the CC.
ebay purchase? If the bushes have gone you might be able to send them back but they often won't refund just send a second carp set ...
I use mister-autos for a lot of my suspension parts. I'd need to check back to see how I bought the last arms for the CC from ..
