bought another 206cc for daughter

Hi all bought a another 206 cc on 2002 mint condtion 89k for 200 ! Had a suspect gearbox got back had gearbox looked at no problem at all its both front bearings ! Any one know what tools il need and sizes etc for the job bought 2 peugeot orginal bearings for 10 each so well pleased any tips on bearing replacement would be much appreciated ta in advance :)

34 or 36mm socket (from memory) for wheel hub nut.
Circlip pliers for bearing retainer.
flypress/hydraulic press or bearing placer to re fit bearing. Don't hammer it in willy nilly or you will be replacing it all over again shortly.
Then you need sockets and basic hand tools to remove strut (or lower part of strut) I prefer to remove entire strut as you have more to grip on when removing / replacing bearing.

There is a thread here somewhere about removing strut (use search facility) Follow that, then the last bit is to replace the bearing. Use grease on the inside surface of the strut to help the bearing in.

Cheers bought a 20 tonne press off ebay picking up today will get a couple of bigger sockets sorted as well just need weather to cheer up a bit to complete

Upon taking lower ball joint off there wasnt a protector plate also the rubber has split can i get both if so has anyone the part no please im also going to replaced with new disc s and pads all round

Split or missing ball joint boot is an MOT fail. The shield is to protect the rubber from the heat from the brake disc. It will work without, but the ball joint boot might not last as long.
