Hi folks, when I switch the ignition on the drivers window opens fully then wont operate at all until I start the car, same with the passenger side too. It maybe related but the roof wont open either just plays a tune.
Is the window dropping automatically indicating a fault or is this a fault in itself? As I say when I start the car both windows operate correctly.

Sounds like it is trying to go into roof opening operation.

Made a mistake there its only the drivers window that does this.
Normally id suspect a faulty switch but it works perfect once its been started.
Also ive powered the roof pump manually and it works fine so must be a dodgy microswitch.
Just this window dropping auto by itself thing got me puzzled.

Tried my roof ecu in another car today it did same as mine does also windows not dropping down by itself with it unplugged too so thats that sorted will update when i get a spare.

Got the 2nd hand ecu today, just tried it........
All windows drop boot lid opens roof folds down boot lid stops open, hmm may have damaged something when i was trying to get it to close manually. Drivers window still opens fully when ignition is turned on though.
Bought a pp2000 off ebay gonna get to the bottom of this sucka.

Either thats a Russian sub machine gun or the diagnostic reader for Peugeot although either would work.Slo wrote:

You did get it with the cables (Lexia-3)??? Otherwise it isn't likely to work.
I got a set off AliExpress and paid about £65. Didn't use the software they supplied but downloaded it from peugeotforums links ....

Ok it came today while I was at work, got it off ebay item number is 181658109139
Looks like its a dealer tool, software is obviously ripped cos its on dvd-r's
Also interested in the download link for proper software for it.
Cost me £69.99 delivered bit of a price difference from peugeot
9780.Z5 PPS COMPONENT £1,237.27 GBP
Comes with 5 cables including one I wasnt expecting that links to the old school peugeot 2 pin obd socket,
which couldn't have come at a better time as my 2.0 turbo engine is misfiring and I might be able to find out the cause now well chuffed
Just got to find my cars customer number now, anyone know best place to obtain it? Dont think main stealer will help me as I have got the log book but its not in my name yet.
