Noise at higher revs
My automatic 206cc (2006) has been making a whistling sort of noise at higher revs (over 4000rpm), I was wondering if it was a common thing in these cars or if it was something that was worth investigating. The car has a full service history, and nothing has been noted that could indicate that there is a problem. I also had the car checked out at a local garage after I first got it, and they made a list of what should eventually be fixed but there was nothing urgent or really bad. Having said that, they did take it for a drive around the industrial estate, so I don't think they drove it very fast, they might have not heard that noise. It's almost like a turbo noise, except my car hasn't got one of those!

Re: Noise at higher revs
Well I had a few things fixed on my car, the exhaust was replaced, the alternator belt, and the noise is gone. so yay, It has a lot of new things too, it feels like a different car.
