Fuel cap key won't go in- stupid question.

Post by Sprog89 »

Hi,
I've just upgraded my 206 to a CC and have noticed that the key doesn't seem to want to open the filler cap. Now, my old 206 had a separate key for the filler cap but the CC just came with the ignition key. I feel so stupid for having to ask but does the ignition key open the fuel cap too!?!?!

I'm hoping it's just frozen up with the frost and not being used for a while and a bit of WD40 will do the trick but am reluctant to start jamming keys in holes if I'm wrong! :|

Just want to check I've not been screwed over.

The ignition key should fit the filler cap - yes. However they have been known to freeze up
