Hi all,
I have been having problems with my 206cc for a while now and wondered if anyone could help.
The car is a 2.0 206cc on a Y reg, the engine management light came on one day whilst driving home from work, i asked my brother in law who works in a garage if he could look at it and it came up with coil pack fault, he replaced this and the plugs, got the light switched off and she seemed to be running fine. 3 days later the engine light came back on, again he put it onto the computer and it came up with the word misfire, again he looked at it, managed to get the light off and all seemed fine apart from being a bit lumpy when on idle when first started. then lo and behold the management light came back on and the same word `Misfire` has come up when put onto the computer. the computer is not giving any codes just the word misfire, she starts first time, but runs lumpy in idle and when driving (which i am very reluctant to do) she seems to have little power and the only way to describe it feels like it wants to do a very big fart.
Can anyone help please???

Re: Misfire
What plugs did you fit? Some NGK plugs don't like certain coilpacks (Sagem?)
Fit Bosch plugs ...

Re: Misfire
Once you've put new Bosch plugs in it make sure you use only decent fuel too. I will only use Shell V-Power Nitro or BP Ultimate petrol. I never risk using cheap supermarket fuel.

Re: Misfire
thanks for your replies, my brother in law took it back into work with him yesterday and cleaned out the throtle body. today he is going to have another look and get the light turned off, so hopefully she`ll be as good as new and i`ll have no more problems, fingers crossed.
