Welcome to the forum ... :welcome:

Not trying to be awkward, but have you tried the SEARCH option .. this comes up a lot ..

It could even be a dying battery!

It may just have been used for very short runs and need a longer journey to clear the unburnt hydrocarbons from the lambda sensors in the exhaust system. I'd fill it up with quality fuel such as BP Ultimate or Shell V-Power Nitro+ and take it for a long run. Don't use supermarket fuel in it.

Are there any symptoms- misfire, lack of power etc?
Cheers Col.

Hopefully with quality fuel in it, and a decent run to get it warm the light will go out eventually. I refuse to use supermarket fuel in our 206cc and always use Shell V Power or BP Ultimate. Most of its journeys are at least 15 miles and I try never to use it for very short runs of less than 5 miles. That way the engine always fully warms up.

Let us know how you get on Chrissie - good luck! I hope your new car is otherwise a pleasure for you.
