Help with BSI

Post by Cc rider »

Hi all
I was pulling fuse's inside the car I was trying to find the fuse for the interior light but I could not find it so was pulling fuse's randomly.
And as a result I seem to have messed my bsi unit. The problem is I have lost indicaters ,wipers, roof, and electric windows. I can't do a reset because I can't lower my drivers window. Oh and also have lost central looking.

Any ideas or help would be great .
Thanks in advance rod..

Check fuse 14 first, if that is ok, then sit in car with key out of ignition, shut the door and wait 3 mins then pull the *fuse* marked shunt wait 15 seconds then re fit it carry on from step 6 of the BSI thread. (I deleted your duplicate post by the way)
Cheers Col.

Thanks for the reply col

Have tried the steps you suggested but it did not work. But what I didn't say in my previous post was that I have tried the BSI reset and the battery disconnect with the drivers window up and opening the door to put key in.
Just to add that the car starts and drives spot on it just seems some of the electrics are not working.
I think I have broken the BSI unit.
Once again thanks for your help and reply. Rod..
