Purchasing new rear light fitting

Post by KarenS »

Can anyone advise where I can buy a complete rear light fitting for a Peugeot 206cc Cabriolet - 51 reg? I've tried having the bulbs changed, but as they fill with water when it rains (guess that's a common fault ?) the whole thing has finally gone! I've learned how to empty the water out, so swapping it for a new one cant be any harder!
Thanks :)

Evil Bay will have some for sure

I had the same issue. careful inspecting of the light unit showed the bonding between body and lens had failed. i simply filled the top join with epoxy resin to seal it. When refitting the bulb carrier to the light unit i smeared some silicone grease on the rubber sea, and then the same on the body to light unit seal as well when screwing it back in to the car. No water in the lights since.

As long as water isn't falling out of the sky, the roof can be down.
