Fog lamps

Anyone had problems with fog lamps suffering from stone damage? Can you get any protection? One of mine has cracked.

Ive got the same problem with my lights (www.m275.com/car) - lens has shattered (but still holding together) - Dealer said I have to get a whole new unit - including the other lenses that are still ok -

Not happy
