Roof latch cable

Post by tony1973 »

Hi Guys and Girls

problem with our summer fun. the N/S roof latch cable has snapped, Bad news Main dealer £230 +VAT.
Good news got one on EBAY for £80.
How easy are they to fit? or more so the tension required. its the cable from the RAM to the pin latch part.
Any help would be gratefully received. Plummer by trade so blow lamp and hammer may not work this time.
Cheers Tony

If you send the cable to Speedy cables , they can make you a new one to your sample. I have used them a couple of times for different things such as Tachograph cables. and they have given me a good service.
Cheers Col.
