Hello from sunny Jersey

Post by a1i.cu »

Well, it is at time of writing :big-grin:

My mother passed away recently, and I have always wanted her car. So I've got it now. It's 2002 and less that 20K miles on the clock - talk about a bargain! Well, she couldn't drive for the last 3 years of her life, so the mileage has stayed low.

In the past I have fixed her sun visor and put in new pillars in the boot so it didn't fall on her head anymore. I've also put a dent in the rear right of the car, so it feels like it was mine for a long time HAHA

Having had a Cat 3 write-off 1000cc bike in the past and nursed that up to health, I don't have a problem playing at being an mechanic - I've worked on a ford fiesta too. I've also been part of other forums, and always found them to be an excellent source of information - for example, I didn't know the roof could be used manually until I read it on here earlier !!

I've already replied to a post about a breaking car... and I've a couple of other questions to ask, so I'll get off here, and post them in the place I deem most appropriate.
Silver Peugeot 206 CC 2002.
got July 2014, 19,500 miles on the clock - and the roof works too :)
