Re: Windows
They are not supposed to. You have to do them manually.
The single chime you are hearing is to signify the cycle has finished and you can let go of the button (you get the same chime at the end of the "open" cycle too)

Re: Windows
Model-206cc
Variant-2drfn
Version-2 RFN
Engine-11997cc
Egine no-LH060421204
Date of reg-28-09-2001
Milage-098820.
Windows do not rise after roof closing and locking. The roof goes up and down okay. Windows operate as normal with roof up or down. This is by use of the two window switches. It was suggested that this can be done manually, how so? As there are no handles I can see no way this can be achieved. After locking the roof and using the two switches I get a double beep. In the past when this has happened I have run the full cycle of opening the roof and closing the roof a few times untill the windows rise.
I noticed that there was a screw loose in the left hand locking catch(holding the trim?)I did this up and it worked ONCE. I then slacked this off 1/4 turn and it worked again, I have not used the roof since as I do not wish to see the same problem happen again untill i can resolve the problem. Thanks for any help :

Re: Windows
So from what you are posting, your windows do NOT work if the roof has been opened and closed??

Re: Windows
Thats right. If the roof cycle is repeated many times then at some point the windows do work. That is the stage I am at now. Roof locked and the windows working. As you can see it is not the ideal solution. Mention roof ,206 here on the isle on the Isle of wight and they hold a cross up and ask you to leave. Sorry I jest but that is how it feels. Ne guy told me it was my fault for buying the B thing.

Re: Windows
Ahh! I misunderstood. From your posting I thought you were saying the windows don't go up as part of the roof cycle (which they don't)
By manually, I meant when the roof has finished it's cycle, you have to put the windows up using the window switches.
In your 2nd post you say
