hi guys i have a 52 plate Peugeot 206 1.4 Auto only done 46000
i have noticed my coolant resovir has gone brownish and is burning a bit and very sludgy stuff in there doesnt overheat much but there is no problem with the oil could the be a blow headgasket or something else any help had mt trnasmisson oil changed 3 months ago if thhat helps

With a 12 year old car, unless the timing belt was changed as it should have been 2 years ago, complete with a brand new water pump, cooling system flush and fresh coolant then the coolant is 12 years old.
If the timing belt has not been renewed I'd do the whole job properly now as above, with new tensioner and pulleys too.
