Hiya, I have an 02 Peugeot 206,1.4.8v
having loads of bother with gear selection.
changed the rods, have just changed the pivoting section with the nylon ball joint and still it won`t select a gear. It will select if you do it by hand at the top of the gearbox.
anyone got any idea what`s happening with it?
currently stck in first.Pulls from clutch point,so the clutch seems ok.

Re: Gear box linkages
Sorry to hear that. Was going to reply but it seems you have bigger problems now.
Cheers Col.

Re: Gear box linkages
I have very sloppy gearchange too. Just bought the car yesterday for my daughter
Are there any bushes on the linkages or is the wear usually in the rods themselves, requiring replacement?
Thanks
John
