Well I need some help to see if there's a more cost effective option than buying the luggage rack here. According to Peugeot Australia the cost here is A$980 or about 360 Pounds. From what I've seen with posted prices the price in the UK (including VAT) is 200 Pounds or about A$550. It's got to be more cost effective to purchase in the UK and ship here - I'd still be ahead.
Can anyone help me to confirm prices (if it's decalred for export we could even save on VAT), and is anyone willing to help arrange to send some here. It will be cash up front. I'll post this in the Aussie section to see if there's any other local interest.
No intention to start a "grey market" - this will be a one off import.
Frosty, I've been quoted 220 GBP, and I think that is far too expesive for a bit of chromed metal and some plastic. I'm more than willing to get hold of one for you, and ship - if it's all cash-up-front.
