i need a code for mine also been told to take it to a auto electrician who will code my new radio/cd player to my car vi the vin pin number found on the log book
i could be wrong but worth giving a auto electrician a call and asking him if they can do it if not he might be able to point you in the direction who can do this for you

The radios in the later cars (multiplex) have to be matched to the car ... so if you replace it with the same model you will need to get someone with PP2000 to do it. Don't think you can do it with standard software but then never tried.

I think if you replace it with an after-market radio you have to map the old one out of the BSI or it gets confused. Again PP2000 ...
