Hi Guy's,looking for something different in the back light department,my 206cc is in diablo red and a 53 plate and i fancy something different.
I have seen various styles including blacked out led models to lexus types. I did see some on a car on here which i quite liked and have searched all over for them but cannot find any.
They were colour coded to a blue car which looked really cool and modern.
Also looking for inspiration in the wheel department so if anyone has a red car whith different wheels on i would be greatful if they posted them for me to look at.

Re: diablo red cc
Have you got the old or new lights on yours? The earlier lights look like two halves (amber and red) and I've seen those on some really late CCs. Later Phase 2s lights look really nice with clear lenses and a clear reverse light and you should be able to pick some up from fleabay ... although the CC and hatch are slightly different is it possible to swap the black shields over. I've put a pair on both our 206s and it transforms the rear end.

I take it you have the older phase 1 lights ... look like two halves of amber and red ... but not very clear?
The later Phase 2 lights look much better ... I've swapped both our 206s with them. They are clearer with a clear reverse light and would look good against your dark red.
You can pick them up on fleabay but the water shields are slightly different with the CC being smaller. It is possible with patience to remove them and swap them over as they are held on with plastic pins that have had the ends melted. I did one where a light unit got damaged so put a hatch light on a CC.

Sorry I double posted ... was using a smartphone ...
I'm not keen on tinted rears ... you loose some of the light and in fog, rain, etc you need all the brightness you can get. I followed a few in the rain coming back down M1, M42, & M40 yesterday and it's only a matter of time before at least one gets rear-ended. Hard to see them in the gloom even with brake lights on. Or they get pulled and fined ... DofT and police are tightening up on all lighting. Lexus lights look good on light cars and Lexus's ... not a fan.
I think the Phase 2 rears are the best ... but that's personal preference.

Hi, i know what you mean, i don't want to stand out in the wrong crowd, also you do really need to be seen in really bad conditions, may stick with std lights.
