My Wifes )06) 206cc had a light tap from behind so i changed the Rear Bumper and the Lower boot panel, but untill i joined here yesterday i strugled to get at some of the bolts holding the lower panel on.
I downloaded the owners manual and found how to open the boot lid manually, by pushing in the corners of the two latches and raising it towards the back of the car.
To remove the old lower panel i had to take out 4 silver bolts holding the boot lid onto its carrying frame, to allow the panel to slip out. But now everything is bolted back into place the latch that hold the back edge down dont see to latch /lock !
They click as you lift the boot lid manually towards the back but as you lower it forwards, back down towards the car the cables seem to pull them shut and they wont latch.
Its obviously an allinment problem so i need some advice ....Help !!!
