Post by Sutthidej »

Hello when I pull switch all windows down the boot lid slowly! open but only 3/4 way then it's stop and alarm sound beep feel like it's doesn't have enough power. So I push the switch the lid can completely go down to lock and alarm sound once.

Would you please advise ?

Might be worth measuring the battery and alternator output just in case. Use a multimeter across the battery terminal with the engine and ignition off and it should be 12.4 to 12.6 volts. Then check it again with the engine running with a light throttle (1,500 to 2,000 rpm) and it should be closer to 14v. If either are low you could have battery and/or alternator issues. Check the alternator drive belt isn't slipping (it will squeak normally though). Check the terminals are tight and clean. Also measure the battery as it should be 190mm high ... if it's the smaller one it may be pulling on the terminals or just not have the power needed to move that heavy roof.

Use the search facility on here as there are lots of threads on the roof ... in fact there is a complete section here ... http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=5

It could be the pump is low on fluid and so low pressure or failing ...

Hello this morning after checked oil level it's lower than normal. So went to peugeot service department bought hydrolic oil cost around 40Euro ! For 150 cc.

After topped up roof open normally but can't close so I manually closed it and checked oil level again.
Found leak may be because O-ring around pump's neck?

Will update after change O-ring.

One more question can I use Citroen oil? It's much cheaper.

Thank you for every advise.
