I saw a silver gti 206 today 01 reg all colour coded i was goin to knock into his house to ask him where he got the colour coding done ,but on looking at the car closer the paint was peeling off the side panels is this bound to happen or was it a bad paint job its put me off doin mine when i get it.

If the job is done properly you should not have any problems like that. As with all painting the end result is only as good as the prep work done. If it is done professionally using proper plastic primer etc the results should last.

And if you ever use those jet washers or steam cleaners, don't get the pressure nozzles too close to your new molded paint job otherwise you may just find it flakes off with the pressure (like it did to my Manta Belinetta some years ago). :sad:
