What model 206 do you have?

Why do you want to take the badge off? It's mounted on two plastic pins and bolts through the grill parts it is mounted on. It actually holds the grill together too.

You could always buy a badgeless grill off ebay or equivalent if you want to be badgeless.

I will most likely take it off and spray it black?

Problem will be the indent in the bonnet if you remove the badge. You can get carbon-lookalike badges. While rebuilding our 206 hatch front end I looked at it without the badge but it just didn't work for me. So it went back.

Rear is de-badged at the moment. I replaced the tailgate trim/handle with a Phase 2 item which doesn't have the badge. The others came off to respray the hatch and I haven't put them back as I want new ones. Looks ok though.

PS this forum is more for the CC ... You might get more ideas and help on customising on the 206info.co.uk web site.

Er, I'm awaiting a set of Torx drivers - there's a metal Decepticon badge waiting to replace the lion... 206cc, now that's a real TRANSFORMER!
