Hello All can I ask some advice ?

Post by sumic »

Hi, I'm new on here so if I'm in the wrong place to be asking this I apologise. I bought a peugeot 206cc azzure a few months ago (2004 reg) and for it's age has been a really good little runner but I now have a problem with the hydraulics that keep the boot open! It seems they have given up and I struggle to open the boot as it is so heavy. Has anyone had a similar problem and if so, is it an expensive problem to rectify? :love-thx:

Fairly simple job if you are handy with spanners etc. Make sure you support that heavy boot lid securely while you do it. New hydraulic boot lid struts will cost you about £20 - £25 each. Someone has posted on the forum how to do it, so please do a search. If you get stuck let us know.

Welcome to the forum.

I'm about to do a pair next week. Want a "how to" (with pics)?
Cheers Col.
