Towing

Hi Everyone

I have a Peugeot 206cc 1.6 petrol engine car, 2002 model. In my handbook it says I can legally tow up to 1100kg - I wouldn't dare tow this much. But we have just bought a little folding camper, 550kg unladen 750kg max laden weight - my questions are below:

Has anyone successfully towed with this type of car?
Do you think it would tow the camper OK?

any tips or advise welcome.

There are people towing complete caravans with their cc.
Dunno if you definitely need 2.0 for that.
But 1.6 with 1100kg going up hill will be a challenge

Be sure to check the details of your towing ball as well.
Weight on the towball (down force) is limited to 50kg.

If you have the camper, why not give it a try
