Is there a peugeot construction unit in Ryton or elsewhere in UK? If there is, does it produce CCs only for UK or distributes in other countries as well?
I want to know how this affects the orders inside and outside the area that construction unit serves and I'm still confused about delivery time.
How much time do you usually wait for it in UK? I made my order 9/18/01 and nothing yet. When should I wait for built date at least? And after that date, how long does it usually take for the delivery date? The delivery for me should be sometime in March I believe.

Ryton is a construction unit but (from what my dealer told me) they don't produce cc's there. I think they're all produced in France, if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me.

If you have a nose around the boards there is another thread in which someone queried the length of time from order to build date and then to delivery, you should find some answers there.

the waiting time in the uk was 20 weeks. i ordered my SE on 31/7/01 and it was ready for delivery after 18.5 weeks and was at the dealer after 17 weeks.

i heard someone recently mention that the waiting list in the uk was now down to 12 weeks but i don't know if it is true or not.

we pick ours up on wednesday 9th jan. and it will be 6 months to the day from when we ordered it, it was definetely built in france.The excitement in our house is high but we will be spending as long as we can bear checking for obvious faults when we pick it up!! Any suggestions welcomed

My dealer is now quoting 12 weeks delivery time from ordering. But I would not trust them with anything as they seem to pick dates from thin air!
