Hi guys,
I have been to asked by my friend to look at her 206cc, the roof won't go down, I have looked at loads of the posts on here, the roof button only beeps nothing more, not even wind the window down, I have checked all the micro switches seem to test ok with a meter, well the ones in/on boot and the handles inside, it beeps whole time your driving! The roof seems to be fine mechanicly I'm sure it's a electronic issue, the eng man light is on and speedo doesn't work would this have any effect!? If not is there a step by step on what to check or a list of things to check that would stop it even trying?
Thanks in advance:-)
Another help post!!!

Re: Another help post!!!
Hmm possibly the speedo not working could have an affect
The roof ecu won't let you activate the roof over 10mph,so if the ecu is getting no info about speed then it may stop it all together

Yep. I would agree with fatboy.
A good code reader, or PP2000 will point you in the right direction regarding VSS (vehicle speed sensor)
