I left my pug with the roof down and locked for a few minutes, when I returned and inserted the key into the steering column, nothing would work. The car seemed to go into shutdown, the only way I could start it was to unlock the boot, lock and open the car before the engine would start. then I had to reset the time, date and radio.
Any ideas or is this normal?
Thanks

Not normal. How old is your battery?

Re: computer reset
Good thought, it's a couple of years old, but I will replace it.
