flashing hearter display,lights,clocks ect

i have a 206 cc 51 plate and all the clocks,stereo,heater display. headlights etc all flicker when i start the car and still flicker when driveing. has anyone had this problem.checked all the earth wires ect.any help thanks ste

If the earths are OK, Try battery terminals (make sure it's the correct battery for a 206cc) and pos wiring to starter motor then on to alternator.
Next check the alternator output with an analogue meter. Watch for the needle flicking around.

Just to add to that, the correct battery is 190mm high but some people have been known to fit a hatchback battery by mistake (175mm high). This places a strain on the terminal connections and can cause intermittent breaks in continuity.
