We'll I've never been a big fan of locking wheel nuts as on every car I've owned, I've ended up having to have them drilled out.... yesterday I was trying to remove the rear tyres from my CC and guess what, lack passenger side locking bold was stuck fast, I applied a little more force and the key has bent, it's in good enough shape to loosen the other 3 but this one can't get enough grip to loosen it.
So, first step is to look for a new key, all I have is a stamp on the head of the key itself ADL A9Z0 (or could be a C on the end). It's a four prong variety. I don't supose anyone has a spare one I can try or failing that know who actually makes these?
MCGuard make locking wheel nuts for a lot of makers but it doesn't look like one of theirs.

Re: Who made them
I've got Peugeot ones on both of our and the four prongs sounds the same. Have they got a circular top with the holes around the side in a chamfered ring?
EdmundIJones: you are unlikely to find someone else's will fit yours. Mine are both different spacing. And the rear wheel bolts were really hard to remove on our CC ... they need copper-grease on the threads when you put them back.

Re: Who made them
On closer inspection I've found that one of the prongs on the key is bent and on the back passenger side the holes in the bolt have become deformed so there is no good grip. I've removed three of the four bolts from the car but the one on the rear is stuck tight. I hammered on a smaller socket onto it and ended up snapping a wrench extension (solid steel bar) tying to budget it. Not a good afternoon.
I'm going to try another socket, smaller one again as it's had one on it already but I'm not hopeful that it will work. If this doesn't work then I'll need to get somebody to drill it out. I'll post some pictures when it's light but whoever replaced the wheel last time really did over tighten the bolt.

Re: Who made them
Right, I've tried a lot of different ways and none worked the locking wheel bolt was stuck tight. I even went at it with an airgun and the key but they just wrecked the key even more.
I ended up taking it to Peugeot and as the service chap their said he had a special tool to few it out. After an hour he gave up with his tool and broke three sockets but got it out eventually. It was in a bad state.
So now I have all the locking wheel nuts off, £35 lighter to get Peugeot to do it and a new set of ordinary bolts put to replace the locking wheel nuts. Knowing my luck somebody will nto make off with the alloys next week but I doubt it.
