Hi im after some help working out whats wrong with my girlfriends roof. Since buying the car it has never worked. I have changed all the micro switches, roof control unit, motor/ pump and checked everything obvious that i can.
If unlatch the roof and press the swith it just constantly beeps at me and at all times when i drive above a very low speed it beeps at me. Windows all work separately but do not move at all when i try to operate the roof. With the windows down the roof still will not operate.
Have plugged in a planet peugeot diagnostic thing and this is what ive found
BSI
*Intermittent fault. Hazard arning switch input. Short circuit to positive
*int fault. key not learned.
*int fault. key not recognised.
*int fault. analogue module. short circuit.
*int fault. engine control unit connection/bsi.
*int fault. remote control learning not carried out.
*int fault. locking by key. short circuit to positive.
*int fault. unlocking by key. short circuit to positive.
Car runs fine, all lights work, windows work. Only thing i can think of that doesnt work is one of the temp gauges. Oil i think.
Roof
*luggage space open switch; boot locked switch right and left; roof open switch; roof closed switch; short circuit to positive.
Dont really understand this as ive checked and changed all the micro switches. Im guessing the roof control module thinks that the boot is not locked properly and so beeps when i drive and will not let the roof operate??
Any ideas or help at all would be really really really appreciated. Really stuck with this and really want it to work.
