Hello everyone!
I hope you can help me here.
I have had my 206 for just over a year now.
Have spent more getting it sorted out than I did buying it!
Anyway, when I start it and sometimes on acceleration, I can hear water gushing under the dash on the passenger side.
There is no leaks into the car and someone said possibly a cracked block? *sigh*
I've already had a new head gasket and I don't really want to shell out more big bucks on a new/recon engine if that's the case.
Are there any tests that a garage can do without stripping down the engine to find out if it IS a cracked block?
Would really appreciate ANY help with this before I sell it (or try to) as I love the car.

Re: Newbie Question
Have you checked engine water level? Is it using water?
Cheers Col.

Re: Newbie Question
I've not had to do this on a 206 but on my Alfa there is a drain under the covers where the wipers attach. If this gets blocked it fills up above the air intake for the heaters.
Not sure the 206 is the same but it does sound like rain water has collected somewhere and is sloshing about.
It sounds heater related more than engine related.
