Hi I've got high revs when start the car

And get a flat spot when I pull off sometimes can anyone help or has anyone had the same problem I've got a y reg 206cc 2.0 litre thanks if you can help me

Forgot to say it goes up to 2 to 3 revs when start but then drops to normal and sometimes goes up on own when still at lights and has a flat spot jerkes with flat spot for two secs when pulling of sometimes

Thanks this mite seem a silly question where is that pipe at the back of the engine or the front I'm gonna have a look in abit if th rain stops and thanks for your help

Sounds like the one that runs along the right hand end of the cylinder head

Thanks I've tried looking but can't see which one it is think I might have to take it to garage I had a shock the othe day peugoet wanted 100.00 pounds to just put it on a machine then your talking another hour at least 75 pounds an hour labour then what ever is needed to fix it what part lol I'm hoping it is that part people are saying as I don't really want to put it into peugoet I've also got to get a new rear box for exhurst and fitted .

You don't have to go to Peugeot. A good independent with a good diagnostic kit will be able to do it (although I doubt you will need diagnostics to fix it)
