where did you take the 12 volt and ground point from?

should i connect it directly to the battery or can i get a 12volt source from inside?

whats the best way of getting a cable from the battery to the boot then? Is there a special way maybe a channel or something?

I'd recommend taking it to an installer. There's heaps of people out there whose cars catch alight because of incorrect power connection and fusing. If you're unsure, leave it to an expert. You'll get a better job and potentially save heartache and cost.

Wiring your car can be a risky deal, but not doing ice is not so bad. Just remember to use oversized cables made for the job, and use correct fuses. Ice suppliers can help you with this. Installing it yourself is no problem, just follow the instructions on the packages.

There's a rubbe socket behind the center console which can be used for feeding the cable through from the engine room.
