Boot lid won't close when Roof is down

Hi guys,

Very useful posts on this forum, so well done to everyone who has solved thier problems!

Okay, I turned off my ignition when my roof was half way closing. I have manually put it back up fine - no problems - but when I go to put my roof down again, my boot lid sounds like it's going down but in fact it is staying up.

I have read the forum but cannot find the solution.

I can press the button the other way and the roof will go up no problem and the boot lid will shut - so I don't recon it's the hydrollics...... help!

Okay after further fiddling! I took off the cover in the boot that is attached to the bit that comes over when the roof is in the boot.

Seems to have solved it as the boot lid is now closing - im just left with a big bit of cosmetic plastic covering that will just have to go in my garage

I have same problem. I already removed the plasic but it still wont go down. What did you fiddle with?
