Last weekend my cable snapped on motor on my back driver side window. With roof being down an all windows, I was left calling the RAC as I couldn't get roof or windows on drivers side up. Mr RAC kindly put the roof up manually and I was left with whole of drivers side windows open ( so glad we had nice weather ).
finally the motor is here an mr garage man has connected motor but has had to leave it resting on back seat as he said he can get into door panel with roof up. So now not only is my back window half down an my roof broke I've got bloody window motor as my back passenger.
I've noticed in other threads people have mentioned white clips, I had a look in my boot an I noticed that the white clips haven't gone over that black clips to secure the boot. How do I do this as I'm about at the end of my teather. I really have tried everything .

Re: CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP
The white clips are for the manual operation. You pull them out and turn them to the adjacent hole.
There is loads of stuff in the roof section that explains it in detail.

Re: CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP
Hi I have searched and searched for the last week an I have tried everything that has been mentioned, I have tried turning white clips but the actual white hook that hooks over black hook don't move so boot won't close it's slightly open from roof end. If that makes sense, I'm a bit cautious going to main dealer from what I have read in forums seems they want to make more money, I have looked on you tube. Is there anyway of getting drivers side rear window motor into panel without taking roof down?

Not sure why roof wouldn't work if windows were down. You can do the motor with roof up, but it's a right royal pain! I would go to a good independant garage, get them to sort out the roof and the window for you. Where are you based?
Cheers Col.
