Help needed with roof hydraulics problem in Sussex area

Dear all,

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced and good garage in the Sussex area who is well versed with roof repairs for the 2001 model? The roof had to be force closed as I could not close it automatically anymore. It also lost all the hydraulic oil which set off the alarm on occasions.

I brought it to two garages (one of them my local Peugeot dealer) with no luck. Peugeot seems to think it's the ram hub which I bought, but that turned out to be the wrong source of the problem. They wanted £656 + VAT, but were not sure whether this would be the final price. Another mechanic seems to think it's the left boot lid ram, but can't get the part for less than £450...

Any ideas greatly appreciated.
