Hi new to here just bought a 2003 206cc but I'm confussed can anyone help me the screen bit in the middle of my dash was working so were the lights that light up my fan and temp buttons but one of the bulbs in centre screen went changed it was fine nxt day none of the centre column is lighting up bar the diagram of the car where the fan buttons are??? Checked all the fuses n bulbs there all fine so can some one point me in the right direction of fixing this ...oh and every time I switch my ignition off my cd player rests bk to factory settings!!! Help!!!

Hi Nikki. if you are sure you haven't dislodged a plug (including the ones on the back of the stereo) and you have double checked the fuses, it may be worth a BSI reset.
I'm not confident it will cure your problem, but if you've tried the obvious fuses and leads, it's worth a shot.

I still think you have dislodged or blown something while changing the bulb.
There are 2 fuses for the cd unit, one is for the "keep alive memory" This keeps power to the unit while the ignition is off in order to save your settings, the other fuse is for the main power supply for when it is in use.

Logic says if it was working before you changed the bulb, then it is almost certainly something you have done while getting to the bulb.

Right sorted the problem with the display thingy lol all 3 bulbs blew replaced and get presto but now the problem with my stereo ... Where is the fuse bit for remembering ?? And what size is it I checked all fuses again none of them are blown but did notice one missin ??

There ya go! Glad you sorted it.

The fuse is inline if memory serves, so will be behind the head unit.
