I am reluctantly selling my peugeot 206 1.6hdi diesel
Okay.... first of all I would like to say that my beloved cc has been registered as cat D..... I don't think this would be too much of a problem as I've researched cat D and this is only panel damage. PLEASE don't be put off by this as I have looked after the car with great cost to myself as you will find out. The car is in excellent condition and really does look amazing when cleaned, polished and waxed...
Okay down to the technical stuff.......
The car is an allure spec, has light grey leather seats, factory fitted upgraded JBL sound system, climate control as well as ESP. The grey leather is in excellent condition with a little wear on the driver seat bolster. The body work is in excellent condition.
The car has 53000 miles on the clock. Taxed until November 2012 and MOT'd until August 2012. The car doesn't have service history due to the previous owner servicing the car himself. I fully serviced the car shortly after buying it (Approximately December time......air filter pollen filter change, fuel filter, oil filter and oil change)...
The dual mass flywheel and clutch were replaced at 50k.... very expensive job...
The particulate filter was removed and engine remapped....i also had a performance remap to increase BHP and increase fuel economy... my little pug now has approximately 140bhp and does very well in mpg... 47mpg around town/70mpg on a long run. Averages 58mpg.
The brake discs and pads were replaced all round a few month ago
The roof works perfectly fine and doesn't leak!
I fitted stainless steel roll over bars however still have the black plastic ones... the holts tyre weld kit is in the back and a wind deflector is also included....
The car drives very well and will be reliable for a good few year providing it is well cared for due to the major problems of this model being repaired by myself....(at great cost)
I was wanting offers on or above £4000 for my car. I know it has been recorded as a cat D however I still think (in the condition it is in) that it is still worth £4000 ... I would consider offers below 4000 however I would hate to be insulted (I would prefer a straight 4000.. I know that this car will not cost much in maintenance for a good few year with me carrying the brunt of the major maintenance costs...
I bought this car for 4500 (without knowing about the cat D) and have spent 1000 on maintenance so technically this car owes me 5500....i know cat D puts people off (even though its only panel damage thats been fixed) hence reluctant price...
I would love this car to go to someone who would take care of the car greatly .. it's a lovely example.
