roof locking mechanism

Post by jwg1701 »

Hi the roof on my 206cc opens and closes fine, however the boot lid locks on the drivers side but not on the passenger side and requires a small amount of pressure to make it lock. I have tried adjusting the cable tensions but it still won't lock. Has anyone had similar problems? any hel would be greatly appreciated.

First thing is make sure bootlid isn't twisted. Measure the gap at both sides with boot latched and see if they're the same.
Cheers Col.

I'm seeking for solution of same problem. Lid won't close after roof open/close. There is broken "tip" of the cable connected to valve. So lock cannot "arm", because broken cable. Pls do you know how to fix it?

As far I know, this cable is not sold separately.
