Just thought I would let you all know my dealer has messed up my order! They have ordered the car too early and it was delivered in December some time. They phoned me to say it either had to be registered now or sent back to Peugeot because they don't allow dealers to "stockpile" CC's. If they sent it back it would be treated as a cancelled order and I would have to order another one which would mean waiting another 12 weeks. NO WAY!!
I obviously kicked up a stink and they agreed to pay for all of my accessories! (Wind stop and 2 mesh grilles)
This means I am going to get my car on Wednesday next week!!
I am gutted that I am not going to be one of the first to drive an "02" car on March the 1st but I am still getting the car and I am going to get it earlier!! I can't wait!
I can't believe I will be joining the ranks of OWNERS soon. I don't care how cold it is on Wednesday, I will have the top down and a wooly hat on!!
Brian, speak o your dealer and tell them to get in touch with Peugeot. Tell them if necessaryh that you will put it in writing to them that you WILL take delivery of the car on 1st March and that it is not the dealer stock piling the car.
If you do this then I cant see any reason why you dealer wont hold the car.
My dealer is prepared to hold my new car for me until I get some more Peugeot points. They said they will hold it unregistered '...as long as I need...'
Go kick your dealer.

I have given up on the March idea but I will be writing to both my dealer's head office and Peugeot to express my dis-satisfaction. I have got used to the idea of having my car on Wednesday now and I am incredibly excited about it. I can't wait now !!!
