Frustrated with roof and continuous beeping!!!

So basically I opened the roof and it had always been fine until one day it wouldnt go back up. I got the error beep while holding the switch.

SO i have been reading lots on this forum about how to put it up manually and what might be the problem. Putting it up manually has not been successful as I have not managed to retract the parcel shelf depsite all efforts. Theres no cord and I cant find this plate people are talking about moving by hand????

Any AFTER attempting this manual stuff I then came up against a new issue which Im thinking must be related. I got a CONTINUOS error beeping. Like the roof one but non stop. Then it just went away and came back and went and came back on and off for days. THEN I noticed it was happening when I went over a bit of bumpy surface or speed ramps. SO I started to think there is a loose connection somewhere causing my problems. While the beeping is present, the windows dont work, and when the beeping stops, the windows work again.

Can anyone put two and two together and see if theres some connection between these issues and any suggestions for what to do. Im really reluctant to take it to the garage and get absolutely robbed without at least trying my best first. Im sure that they see a girl coming along and will just bulls*it me and charge me a fortune for unnessecary work.

Please help. If it might be some of these microswitches or contacts- how can I check them??

OK, that much I am aware of. Could be or sounds like it IS? Any suggestions for testing this to or rectifying this myself- If I MUST go to the garage I want to go knowing what the problem is and getting only that fixed because I know what they are like and they will screw me by changing the most expensive parts even if they are fine

try cleaning them too as its common that they have glitches when they are dirty

ok thanks. i dont mean to sound dumb but what exactly do they look like? are they all the same or are they all in different shapes and forms.
