Electric window problem

Hi everyone, I am new this to this forum, although have had my 206cc since 2004 and am very fond of it, it has been troublefree until now. I wonder if anyone else has experienced same problem and if they were able to solve it. My driver's window will not go down, my local garage replaced the switch and window worked for 2 days then stopped. I returned car, he checked switch and says is not faulty. He has checked all electrics and can find nothing wrong, and of course I can't put the roof down in this lovely weather either. He has suggested I take to Peugeot dealer. Has anyone else had this problem, if so what was the outcome.
