Removing and replacing the aerial ...... advice please !!

Can anyone help, I have a 2002 206cc and I want to replace the original aerial with a smaller bee sting. Does the original aerial just unscrew from the outside or do I need to remove the interior light and do it that way ??

Aerial just screws onto the mounting ...

I had to remove the complete Arial to fix a leak into the interior light fitting, If you need to do this then here are the instructions;

1 remove light fitting by using a small flat screw driver (Just the clear cover complete with switch and bulb)
2 remove electrical connector.
3 press both clips and pull exterior light fitting out.
4 remove metal cover with small flat screwdriver.
5 using a 8mm spanner remove the nut.
6 pull plastic fitting with PCB down.
7 get out of car and pull Arial off.

you can now clean the body of the car and apply silicone grease to the rubber seal on the Arial, you can also change the end fitting easier with it removed.
Re-assemble in reverse order from above. no more leak.
