Re: noooob
About the same time as my daughter got hers and is loving it too. She's just driven to Whitby (263miles) and back for a friends wedding and found the drive pretty stress free and the car so easy to drive. Before she had our 206 1.4 HDi and the extra power makes driving a lot easier. Haven't calculated the MPG but it was about 3/4 tank each way.
Her's is that wonderful Cayman Green ... hence the nickname ... Kermit (the car, not her!)
Since getting the car we've replaced all the brake pads and discs, the spark plugs, the cam belt (inc tensioner and idler), a piece of the pas pipework (££s!) and all the filters and oil. Still to go is a loose CV boot strap on the n/s and I noticed a small hole in the lower wishbone balljoint boot (you do wonder how it got a new MOT?!?) ... plus I need to realign the exhaust as this has been rubbing on the rear bumper (and repair that!)
Along with my Alfa, that should keep me busy over the summer!
