206 gear selector problem

hi there can any one help me .changed my clutch on my 206 1.4 to day but now the gear stick is very loos and i cant select gears do any one have any idea what is wrong with it

Sounds as if a gear linkage rod has come adrift. May need a new one (or new ones) if the ball and socket joints are dry and worn.

I'd try greasing and reconnecting it first.
