Peugeot 206 cc 2.0 ltr Allure with Anti Pollution Fault HELP

Post by Pamelahill »

HI can anyone help. I am the owner of a 2005 206 cc 2.0 litre allure model only done 25,000 miles - recently my car is showing an Anti Pollution Fault - the engine management light is on and the car is very sluggish, struggling to gain speed and feeling like it is about to cut out when sitting idle in traffic it is also using fuel. Can anyone help me sort this problem ? Thanks

Hello Pamela,

When was it last properly serviced and who by?

What sort of use is it getting?

When did it last have a long run at motorway speed?

What petrol are you putting in it? When and where did you last fill up?

It was serviced by our local Alfa garage - I used to
Put tesco fuel or sainsburys in it but recently but texaco which made it worse and then bp ultimate after reading a few reviews!! I only do about 4000 miles a year! It only really does 12 miles a day 4 times a week average ! A lot of people say it the lambda sensors on the exhaust but other answers are welcome / thanks
